Sparky and Eddie Wild, Wild Rodeo (Hello Reader)
Published in School & Library Binding by Cartwheel Books (Scholastics) (April, 1998)
Average review score:

How kids should play! This book is a light-hearted story about two best friends who, for the day, pretend they are cowboys (or cowgirls) at their school rodeo. By the end of this book, it teaches how to have fun while "competing" in such events as the boot search, teddy bear tie up, and naming the uses for a bandana (not banana). My son loves this story as it tells about feelings ranging from happy to anger. It also shows that just because someone wins, it is alright not to. I recommend this book for all children who dream of being a cowboy or cowgirl.

But the TV newsman who loves her will stop her in any way he can to keep a deadly secret buried. A cold-blooded killer is tracking them both-to a lost fortune and the last witness to his Nazi past. Action packed. Hard to put down.

Stranger on the Mountain
Published in Paperback by Love Spell (March, 1999)
Average review score:

The Mountain of AdventureWhat a delightful adventure story. The myth of the mountain lion provides a wonderful backdrop. Descriptively written, you can almost picture yourself in the outdoor setting. The romantic element is only a small part of this well-written tale, and there are unexpected elements. This is a modern romance novel, involving a female lawyer who finds herself attracted to an ex-con mechanic. This is a fast paced and enjoyable read. The storytelling includes a number of dichotomies, including past and present, old and young, desire and restraint, and ultimately, freedom and survival. The ending is a bit too sweet, but most readers will probably like that.

Sugarplum
Published in Library Binding by Random Library (March, 1963)
Average review score:

My favorite Childhood bookThis is the only book I truly remember from my childhood. It is very difficult to find, so I recommend that you purchase whatever condition you can locate. It has charming illustrations in it, as well as a wildly imaginative plot line. The vacuum and the penny illustration was one I remembered very vividly. So often in life, upturned noses and superficial conceits can be so destructive to another's self image. This little doll's tale exemplifies the special worth of each and every person, even if she is a small doll!
